Introduction and acceptance

Alquila.Online is the digital infrastructure of renting: a platform that connects tenants, owners, agents, agencies and service providers, and facilitates search, communication, electronic signing, the guarantee and payments.

Alquila.Online acts as a technology intermediary: it is not a party to the rental contract nor the owner of the listed properties, and the rental relationship is entered into between the tenant and the owner or their representative. The deposit insurance is contracted with partner insurers through the platform. In addition, the tenant enters into a guarantee agreement with Alquila.Online under which Alquila.Online assures the owner of the rent payment and, in the event of the tenant's default, is entitled to claim the amounts owed from the tenant. To enter into these contracts, Alquila.Online elects the user's home country when it operates there or has a legal representative in that country.

Permitted use and restrictions

When using the platform, you agree not to:

• Post false or misleading information, or properties you have no right to.
• Impersonate another person or circumvent identity verification (KYC).
• Use the platform for unlawful purposes, fraud or money laundering.
• Compromise system security, access third-party data or interfere with its operation.
• Reproduce, copy or exploit the content or software without authorization.
• Arrange payments outside the platform to evade the protections and guarantees offered.

Limitation of liability

Alquila.Online provides the technology that connects the parties, but does not guarantee the fulfillment of the tenant's or owner's obligations, who are responsible for their contractual relationship. To the extent permitted by law, Alquila.Online is not liable for indirect damages arising from the use of the platform or the conduct of other users.

The platform integrates services from the EchoSistema S.A. group (EchoSign for electronic signing, Pigeons for communication) and third-party services (payment processors, deposit insurance, providers). Each is governed by its own terms; Alquila.Online selects trusted providers but does not replace their responsibility.

Reservation of rights

All intellectual property rights in the platform, its brand, design and software belong to their holders and are protected by law.

We may update these Terms to reflect legal, regulatory or service changes. The current version is published on this page with its update date.

Disclaimer of warranties

The platform is provided "as is". We make reasonable efforts to keep it available, secure and accurate, but we do not warrant that it is free of errors or interruptions.

Listing information is provided by users; we recommend verifying each property and its conditions before contracting.

Governing law and jurisdiction

Alquila.Online was born in Paraguay and is governed by its laws, operating in Latin America. To enter into each contract, the platform elects the user's home country when Alquila.Online operates there or has a legal representative in that country; where this is not possible, the jurisdiction of its headquarters applies. In each country, the service adapts to the local rules applicable to renting and consumer protection.

Regarding personal data and information security, we comply with the GDPR (European Union), the LGPD (Brazil) and the practices of the ISO/IEC 27000 family of standards, in particular ISO/IEC 27001. Disputes will be resolved before the competent courts of the country elected to enter into the contract, unless otherwise required by law.
